love/home 2

Home, let me come home
Home is wherever I’m with you
Home, let me come home
Home is when I’m alone with you

I want to come back home, can I come back home?
I hold you just like I never will

Because you lack a vision, you’ve been blinded by love

There are many roads that can lead us home. Maybe we’ll get there and maybe we won’t, but I’m trying to remember that it’s better to be looking for the way home than it is to be lost and going nowhere.

Thanks to the wonderful ahuntersheart, atragedyoflove on Twitter, for introducing me to the Paul F. Tompkins/Maya Rudolph performance of “Home.”
