In a Michael Mann film there is time for a statement/moment like this. No bypass. Mann makes time. You’re gonna grieve, no matter what. We have to grieve, no matter what. Corruption for Mann always has to do with not grieving for others. Which means Mann believes in difference. There’s so much tenderness in Blackhat. Just tenderness.
