“Haunted House”
- via AtariMania
This game spooked me out quite a bit as a kid. My imagination brought the graphics to life, and I always feared what might be lurking in the shadows. Today I find it interesting to think about how, even in the Atari era, designers could cultivate a whole range of moods and tones in their games using the (by today’s standards) incredibly limited abilities of the hardware.
